Challenge

Communicating trust and warmth in a competitive educational landscape

Makers Academy needed a visual identity that would reflect its core purpose: a Guatemalan academy offering age-appropriate English programs for children and adolescents. The challenge was to design a graphic system that would appeal to both young students and their parents, in a market often dominated by generic or overly academic branding. The identity had to convey a balance of professionalism, energy, and innovation—without losing the warmth that defines the academy’s human-centered approach.

Goal

Develop a visual language tailored to each learning stage

The goal was to create a modern, friendly, and flexible brand identity that resonated with two key audiences: the children and teens who experience the programs, and the parents or guardians who choose the academy. The design had to reflect vibrancy, trust, and clarity, while being versatile enough for social media, printed materials, and digital applications—ensuring consistent communication across all platforms.

Result

A vibrant and coherent brand system designed to grow with its students

The final identity features symbolic elements, modern typography, and a lively color palette that communicates empathy, professionalism, and innovation. The design connects emotionally with students while providing reassurance to parents. Built to scale, the visual system is ready to grow with the academy’s evolution. Today, Makers Academy stands out in Guatemala as a trustworthy and inspiring educational choice for families seeking real progress in English learning—at every age and every stage.
